Hey Guys,
So I have a confession to make. I am one of those dog moms that freak out when I have to take my dog to the vet. I am worse than the dog actually. I hide it pretty well once we get there but I am dying on the inside. I can’t watch when they give him shots, when/if he cries my heart breaks and today killed me when I brought the new pup to get neutered and had to drop him off..GASP…overnight. I shed a tear on the way back to the car.
Why do I do this? My vet is amazing and they all love him and take the best care. My dog has pretty bad separation anxiety..but in reality who has it worse..him or me? I do not have children so I guess this is my momma bear moment when I was him to feel safe and loved..but in the end it’s the right thing to do and to be honest it really is not a big deal. But I will be nervous Nelly until I can pick him up tomorrow morning.
How do you handle the anxiety when your pet is gone for the night? Do you enjoy the quiet? Have a fun night out? Help a girl out will ya!

Hey All,
Whew I need to catch my breath. It’s been a busy week and I am finally now getting a minute to stop and say hello, download photos and tell you all what I have been up too. On May 30th I was lucky enough to be a part of the St. Francis of Assisi Walk for the Animals again this year. They are a great rescue group and please please please if you are in the Minneapolis area and are thinking of getting a new family member, consider them and see what they have available. Here’s the website. http://www.stfrananimal.org/
We had such a great time last year and could not wait to get back. This time I brought little Javier and he had a blast. Here’s Javi meeting the biggest dog he has ever seen. Typical Javi he had to give kisses.
He also was a great sales dog..He sat at my booth all day and helped the customers pick out the exact outfit that fit the dog.

A happy customer…

And at the end of the day one tired pooch.

So after all the excitement of the Walk for the Animals..the very next day I held my very first toy dog play group. It was so much fun. To be honest I need to get a little better at the action shots..but picture a bunch of little ones running at full speed in an open training facility. CRAZY!! Here is a small pack of crazy Chihuahuas.

Time for a water break..

Overall it was a jam packed weekend. If you would like to join our play group( hint..food and wine are involved) here is the link. http://www.meetup.com/Wright-County-Toy-Dog-Group/ We would love to have you.
That’s it for now…until our next adventure,
